In addition to the annual Festival in January, Palm Beach Poetry Festival partners with other non-profit organizations and schools to bring poetry into the lives of Palm Beach County residents year-round.
HIGH SCHOOL POETRY CONTEST - Annually
The festival works with literary arts teachers throughout Palm Beach County and distributes contest information through the offices of school principals about the contest. Last year, we received over three hundred entries. Students in grades 9-12 in public, private and charter schools in Palm Beach County are invited to participate. Winner and runners up are honored at an event during the Festival. See the Guidelines for the 2011 Contest at: http://www.palmbeachpoetryfestival.org/other/hs_contest

THE TEEN POETRY PROJECT
Mission: The Teen Poetry Project is an artistic community outreach program that seeks to promote literacy and voice through poetry. We provide young people ongoing support of the desire to reach their creative potential through writing and performing poetry.
